writing problems

I hate that when I look up how to create and write relationships between characters the internet always thinks I mean romantic relationships. Honestly 99% of the time I mean familial or platonic relationships. Is there a different word I need to use other than “relationship”? I just tried using the word “bond” instead and got the same issue. 😫

I’m so frustrated I’m literally paragraphs away from actually finishing a fanfic and i just can’t figure out how to end it. I had 80% of this written in like a day and this last bit has taken me months
