Eclipsa said that the spell would only kill Toffee if Moon aimed for his heart
Marco punched Toffee straight through his chest where his heart should have been and there was nothing there
Just thought I’d point this out

I’m seeing people getting upset that Toffee is dead and just….What? Y’all really think Toffee is dead?
From a writers standpoint, it seems pretty obvious to me that he’s not. Between what happened in Storm the Castle (ya know where Toffee “died” but clearly actually didn’t) and his little rant at the end of of The Battle for Mewni about how they “don’t make the plans” and only he “knows how this turns out” it seems clear to me that the writers are foreshadowing that Toffee will be back.
He’s definitely weaker, and it’ll probably be a while before he returns, and when he does it’ll probably be really messed up and after some weird shit with Eclipsa goes down.
But he will be back, he’s not dead.
