I have read some theories about how Bill isnt the huge villain in Gravity Falls and someone else is going to appear, stronger and eviler. Mostly because of what Alex Hirsch said.

But I dont think he was refering to an actual character.

I think he was talking about the situations that involved the main characters and were separating them.

Think about it. Even if Bill is causing the Apocalypse we are not totally worried about it, we know they are going to defeat Bill.

But we dont know if, at the end, they are going to stay together. We are more worried if Mabel and Dipper are going to solve their differences. We are worried if the Stans are going to make up and forgive the past. We are worried if all the Pines will survive to take the time to solve their problems. We are worried if Dipper is going to accept Ford’s offert to stay in Gravity Falls or return with Mabel to California.

We are not worried about Bill.

We are worried about the little situations, those little chain reactions, those similar to reality arguments that they are having.

The true villain of Gravity Falls is not a bigger nightmare demon.

The true villain of Gravity Falls is the very Pines’ family. The issues they have and how they are going to confront them.

The true villain of Gravity Falls is…themselves.
