One of the biggest mysteries of Gravity Falls that was never solved and probably never will be solved (because it’s not the most important detail considering how well everything worked out) was how the Stan twins would have handled Ford kicking Stan out and shutting down the Mystery Shack. cuz like, if it only affected the two of them, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But that wasn’t the case, it also would have affected Dipper and Mabel and Soos (and Wendy too, but not quite as much as Soos and twins) and Ford and Stan both knew that.

Were they just gonna not tell the kids? I realize that would probably be ideal because they wouldn’t want the kids to get involved in the family drama but surely they didn’t think this would be Dipper and Mabel’s last time going to Gravity Falls, and I can’t picture Ford telling them they couldn’t come back just because he didn’t want them to know he kicked Stan out. Was the plan to have Stan come back and stay in the Shack during the summers so Dipper and Mabel wouldn’t find out? Wouldn’t they start asking questions about why the Mystery Shack had been shut down? Wouldn’t they just end up hearing about Stan being kicked out from Soos? Honestly, I don’t think Mabel and Dipper could have even made it to next summer without finding out. They would call throughout the year, and they’d start to suspect something when Ford found an excuse to hang up the phone every time the twins asked for their grunkle Stan. And they made several friends in Gravity Falls they’d likely keep in contact with, and sooner or later (probably sooner) one of them would tell them the Mystery Shack is no longer in business and Stan isn’t living there anymore (it’d probably be Soos or Wendy for obvious reasons). And what if Weirdmageddon hadn’t happened, and Dipper had stayed with Ford to be his apprentice? How would they have handled that since Dipper would be there to watch one grunkle kick out the other grunkle. And what about Soos?? When was he going to be told his idol was leaving the shack, and possibly the town, and that his favorite place in the world was going to be shut down?? Was he told in canon before DaMvtF and we just didn’t see it? Probably not because Soos would have been emotional, so if he hadn’t been told that episode, and there was a week left of summer in that episode, was Stan planning on telling him last minute? How much did Stan go over in his head how he was gonna tell Soos? You can’t tell me Stan didn’t do that, he knew what the Mystery Shack meant to Soos. And how was Stan gonna handle Soos getting unbearably upset when he found out? What would Soos and the twins think of Ford when they found out?

I just get overwhelmed by all this, what did they think they were going to do??????

Letters of Gravity Falls: Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Sorry I haven’t been doing a lot of these lately!

This letter is a homemade card Dipper and Mabel sent to Stan and Ford for Valentine’s Day.
Please note that this letter is assuming that when Gravity Falls ends (tomorrow…) it ends with the entire Pines family alive, and Stan and Ford are on okay terms & are both living in Gravity Falls (probably they’re both living in the Mystery Shack since this letter is addressed to both of them) (Boy I hope it ends this way)

WARNING: I’m putting this letter under the Read More because in it, Dipper attempts to draw a realistic heart. I myself can feel uncomfortable with realistic drawings of hearts, depending on how detailed they are, so I decided to put it under the Read More in case anyone is like me. Since I feel uncomfortable with detailed heart images, I can promise it’s not very detailed. It’s also unfinished and not a very good drawing because like I said, Dipper attempted to draw it, keyword: attempted ;). So yeah, if you feel similar to me about detailed realistic hearts, hopefully, I’ve given you enough information to decide if you want to read the letter or not.

Anyway, enjoy! 🙂

I was watching the Christmas special A Year Without a Santa Claus, and at the part where Mrs. Claus is calling Snow Miser on Heat Miser’s hot line, and the Miser brothers start bickering I joking say to myself “hey it’s Stan and Ford”

And now I can’t get this image of the Stan twins dressed as the Miser brothers out of my mind
