Like I said, I watched an interview with Alex and the interviewer asked him that, and I just thought “…what?…why would you ask him that?” I kinda just accepted it as a joke, especially since I remember Alex chuckling before answering, and I remember it being like a I-can’t-believe-you-just-ask-me-that chuckle. But everyone online took it so seriously, like…there must have been something beforehand that prompted it?

It started because of Between the Pines, I think. Or maybe the live tweeting during it? One of those hinted that whatever is under Fords sweater is a secret or a spoiler. So of course the whole fanbase is raving about it now lol. Apparently Mabel has a secret too.
