It seems like prior to the episode Not What He Seems, we would often see Stan resting on the chair in the living room when he wasn’t working in the shack, and often times taking a nap on it, but after Not What He Seems, there wasn’t as much of that.

Which makes sense because before that episode, Stan was working on the portal all night and would have had to catch up on his sleep in the day.

Getting Ford back allowed Stan to get a full nights sleep for the first time in 30 years.
