The theme of season 2.5

A Tale of Two Stans: the story of how Stanley got kicked out of the house and family as a teen, lived a miserable life until he met up with his brother again, who was then stuck in a portal before the end of the day, and how Stanley faked his own death and spent the next 30 years trying to get his brother back and not even getting a thank you when he finally succeeded

Dungeons Dungeons and more Dungeons: lets us know that Stan feels intellectually inferior to his brother “Maybe let him take a few bites of Ford’s brain first. Even things out smartness wise”

The Stanchurian Candidate: “I’m an old man and I’m not getting any younger. Do I really want ‘Crooked Grifter’ on my tombstone?”

The Last Mabelcorn: yes, let’s not tell Grunkle Stan about the huge deadly threat to our family by a demon and not include him in our family meetings

Roadside Attraction: “truth is I’ve been divorced once”

I see one half the the fandom saying this will be an episode that was just played out of order and the other half saying this will be another non canon episode and can I just say I REALLY hope it’s the former because I’m gonna be really pissed off if it’s a nice Dipper and Stan bonding episode that’s not canon

So we are all aware Mabel is afraid of losing Dipper. We are all aware this fear is mostly because of what happen with her grunkles.
Let’s say she keeps it bottled up inside her (like what she’s been doing) and she does this for so long, she just one day blows up all her emotions about it to someone in the family.

If she blew up to Dipper, he probably still wouldn’t see a problem, remind her they’ve already talked about it, and tell her that they will be fine

If she blows up to Stan, he would probably completely understand her fear, maybe even be worried about the kids himself, feel his heart shatter at the sight of Mabel being so upset about something that he is partially responsible for, but then he’d still try to reassure her that there isn’t a thing for her to worry about.

What would Ford’s reaction be?
