I just made this entire post without saving and then my computer freaked out on me and now I have to write this whole thing over again. Boo

It’s time for the discussion session! Yay! 
I’ve made a page that describes the Happy Ending AU (as it is right now). This link is also in my blog description if you are on a computer (the link won’t show up in the description on mobile, sorry. But that‘s why I provided the link here)

Before we begin, I have some things to say:

First, feel free to join in late if you want! Feel free to add something after the discussion is over (especially if you miss the discussion). Feel free to say something/ ask something about a topic that we are not discussing anymore, say something even if we’ve moved on to another topic! And feel free to ask/say something that we haven’t discussed yet, even if it’s completely random! I guess what I’m saying is, don’t be shy! 🙂

Second, part of the reason I provided the link to the current description of what the au is right now, is so that you guys can look over it and see if you have any questions or thoughts about it. I’ve made a list of things I want to talk about, but I might have missed some things that need to be discussed, so again I say, feel free to bring things up! That’s the point of this! 🙂

Third, I’ll probably respond to many of you in one post because I’m worried I’ll hit the post limit. I’m far from hitting it, but I’m still worried about it (okay but why is there a post limit in the first place??) What I’ll do is I’ll mention you with the “@” thing and answer you and then do the same for the next person. Or if they come in the form of asks I’ll probably take screenshots or something and answer several at once. 

Forth, there are certain things I won’t budge on with this au. One of those is who is living in the Shack. In my original layout for this au Stan, Ford, Soos, Mabel, Dipper, and Elise (Pacifica) were all living in the Shack. I wanted a Full House like setting (I love Full House). Although, I would be open to the idea of adding people, and making an even fuller house (that joke was 100% intentional) 

Okay I think that’s everything trying to remember all that I typed the first time I wrote this

To get the ball rolling, here’s the first thing on my “list of things to discuss”

1. Possibility of changing the name of the au. The name “Happy Ending Au” was created because this au was supposed to be the backup for if canon had an unhappy ending. But since canon was a pretty happy ending (I mean all the crap it took to get to the ending was emotionally painful, but the ending itself was happy) I was thinking maybe “Happy Ending au” doesn’t really fit anymore? I mentioned earlier that this au was supposed to have a Full House like setting, so I was considering renaming it to “Full House au” 
idk, would changing the name now just be confusing?

(also, idk if I will tag you all every time I make a post in the discussion, but I will tag you all now for sure)

So as of now, the discussion session for my happy ending au will be done in the form of reblogging and/or sending asks. 

As for when the discussion session will happen, I’m thinking this Friday (March 18th) at 4 pm PST. (hmm…should I set an end time? or should we just wait for the discussion to die down? If it lasts a long time I might need to take a couple of breaks because I can’t sit still for long periods of time)

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE DATE: The date of which we do this does have the possibility of being changed last minute. I was trying to decide between Thursday and Friday, and I ended up deciding Friday because I figured more people would be likely to participate (since Friday is not a school/work night for most people). However, since Friday is not a school/work night, there’s a small chance my family will do something that day. I say small because we never do anything, but my family also has a habit of planning things and then not telling me about them (once my brother and I were supposed to sleep over at our grandparents’ house and I didn’t find out until that day, when my brother started packing) I really should just ask my family if we have anything planned, but they would ask me why I want to know then they’d tease me for planning something like this and I don’t really want to deal with that.
The time and date also may change if someone else who wants to participate tells me that this time doesn’t work well for them.

That being said, if you want to be involved, and this time and date is inconvenient for you, let me know! I will do what I can to make sure this works for all who want to be involved.
