I was talking to a classmate about Gravity Falls today, and she said she’d seen one episode, when I asked her what one she said “it was an episode with the pig guy taking over the town with his robot of himself”
She called Gideon a “pig guy” omg

Times my brother and I had theories that technically ended up being right but not in the way we expected
My brother’s:
Remember when the entire fandom was freaking out at the end of season one, we were freaking out because at the end of Gideon Rises we were all pretty sure Stan said “finally we have them all” when he had all three journals together, and we all had theories about who “we” was supposed to be. Well I told my brother about that when it was buzzing in the fandom, and asked him who he thought “we” was, and he responded (with hardly any hesitation) “The Pines family”
Obviously he meant just Dipper and Mabel at the time, but hey, here we are today and it turns out Stan was doing it for his family all along, my brother just didn’t know Ford was included
Mine:
From the second I first read about the Stan twin theory, there was one thing that always bugged me about it: the name Stanley. I kept thinking to myself “why would anyone name one kid Stanford, and the other Stanley? Even if they are twins?!” So I refused to believe Grunkle Stan’s brother’s name was Stanley.
Well, I was technically right, Grunkle Stan’s brother is NOT named Stanley

Watching Gideon Rises, with my mom. She gets into a conversation with my dad in the middle of the episode. When the conversation ends she looks back at the screen
Mom: okay, now I’m totally lost, last I saw they were on a bus leaving Gravity Falls,
Me: and then you got into a conversation…
Mom: …and now they have the Mystery Shack back…
