Drawing request from @fandomrepost “draw waddles eating some cake and dipper looking on distraught because…um… The cake was a key part of his plan to prove that leprechauns are real”

Sorry, this took a little longer than I had thought it was going to take. Yesterday I thought this drawing taking so long was meant to be because I got a scanner for Christmas and thought “Oooo! This drawing can be my first drawing that I post using my new scanner to scan it!”
And today I’m thinking that was a bad idea because the scanner made it look worse than it does on paper…

…I feel the need to explain this whole thing…

1. Dipper was supposed to look like he had more dramatic reactions, but I struggled to draw that.

2. The speech bubbles were supposed to be color coordinated (Dipper’s are outlined in blue, Ford’s are outlined in brown, Stan’s are outlined in red (I got lazy and didn’t draw Stan or Ford, which is why I decided to color coordinate the speech bubbles)) but they are hard to see and hard to read, so I’ll just tell you what’s being said:

Dipper: WADDLES!
Stan and Ford: Dipper? What happened?
Dipper: Waddles ate the cake! The leprechauns won’t come if there’s no cake!
Ford: Dipper, calm down, we’ll just make another…
Dipper: (tearing up) But we worked so hard on this one!
Stan: Clearly you haven’t been sleeping

3. I colored this with colored pencils, crayola colored pencils, so there’s a lot of colors I didn’t have, so I compensated for it by using colors very lightly to get lighter tones, which ended up not really showing up (like most of Waddles, and Dipper’s skin) and then I layered darker colors onto other colors to get darker tones, for example I didn’t have the color of Dipper’s vest, so I colored it blue and then colored black over it to make it darker, and it looks ok on paper, but after I scanned it…not so much…

4. Dipper hasn’t slept for like 2 days and Waddles has green frosting on his face 😉

I learned I need to buy better colored pencils ( I actually have better colored pencils, but they have a warning label on them to wash hands after each use because they’re toxic and since I have bad anxiety and a huge fear of death I don’t ever use them) Or maybe it would be better to draw pictures on paper, scan them, and do all the coloring, speech bubbles, etc in Photoshop? idk.

Anyway, I’m sorry these look so bad, I hope you enjoy them none the less! 🙂

Happy birthday! I headcanon that the entire Pines family is a bunch of astronomy nerds.

If Dipper and Mabel were younger, (young enough to not know what the Big Dipper is) I can imagine then going outside, star gazing, and seeing the Big Dipper in the sky and then screaming at Stan and Ford that they found Dipper’s birthmark in the sky. Or maybe when they were little, they used to visit Stan then too, and they yelled for Stan when they found Dipper’s birthmark in the sky.

I wonder if Mabel maybe got inspired to knit her shooting star sweater by seeing a shooting star and just becoming completely fascinated with them.

Thank you for the headcanon and wishing me a happy birthday!

Stan spend a lot of his money onto both his niece/nephew college fund and his niblings’

I love this. I actually talked about this once before,

It would make a lot of sense for Stan to be saving up for his niece and nephew’s college funds, because he probably feels responsible for Ford not getting into his dream school,

so now he wants to make sure he’s responsible for the rest of the family actually getting into their dream school
