I’m at a point where every time I see a Gravity Falls episode on tv, I have to check what episode it is and decide if I can emotionally take that episode or not.

For example:
“What’s this episode, oh, The Golf War? Yay, I can take that episode!”
“Oo, another episode! What’s this one? Dipper and Mabel vs the Future? Nope! Sorry! My emotions still can’t take that episode!”

Ok I thought of something.
When Ford told Dipper his parents would love to have him teach him because he has 12 PhDs I immediately thought “um Ford, his education probably isn’t going to be the only thing they consider. Don’t you understand that?”
But think about it, he probably doesn’t understand that because of his dad. A Tale of Two Stans made it seem like Filbrick only showed any signs of caring about Ford when he was told Ford was so smart he could potentially be a millionaire. He only cared about education because he knew if one of his kids got a good enough job, they could “be our ticket out of this dump”
