Had an eye appointment today.
During eye exam:
Doctor: ok your prescription changed a little bit. Not a lot, but with your new lenses you will notice a difference in clarity.
My brain: man, wouldn’t it be awesome if I could get new glasses before DAMVTF. then I could watch the episode with the best visual possible. Probably won’t happen though.
After exam:
Me: So how long would it take for my new glasses to be ready?
Guy selling glasses: a day
My brain: OMG are you serious?? I CAN have new glasses for the new episode!? This is awesome!
Guy selling glasses: of course, we have to wait until Tuesday because we can’t do it today and we’re closed for the weekend and Monday
