k i gotta make this fast bc i need to be somewhere soon but i  cant believe the birthday episode aired like what, two years ago? two and a half? and i just realized that becky and tobey probably thought they’d be invited because the party kinda took over their grade/playground at school and they didn’t realize she’d want a smaller party to celebrate for real. possibly not wording this well but whatever

anyway ive never wondered about this til now but like…. what is up with tobey and birthdays, anyway? does he even celebrate his? has he ever been to a birthday party before?? was not being invited to katy’s something he took as ‘you’re so much of an outcast you aren’t even invited to the party that everyone’s invited to’ (which wasn’t true but he didn’t know that), and that’s why he was upset?? why is this the first time he’s ever mentioned caring about stuff like this, heck, why does he care
