@ anon who wanted me to do more text commentary episode review things for Wordgirl (ugh I really need to think of a name for those) I’m working on it, I’ve just got a little hiccup in that my computer for some reason won’t let me crop images all the sudden. So now my plan is to put them all through PhotoShop so that may take longer (or maybe not,I don’t actually know 😆)

My Thoughts on the finale of SvtFoE

Because I have to get it out of me

Good

  • Mariposa and Meteora get to grow up together like Star and Marco promised
  • Past queens of Mewni
  • Solaria accepting Meteora
  • Moon getting to see her mother one last time
  • The merging of dimensions
  • Butterfly form x4
  • Moon and Eclipsa deciding to help
  • Solaria simply glaring at Mina when she begged for help
  • The implication that magic will send everyone to where they belong, then Star and Marco saying they belong together, so the magic merges their worlds
  • The fact that Glossaryck and Hekapoo didn’t give a crap they were gonna die, and Rhombulus and Omni never even knew–CRAP POOR REYNALDO!
  • Janna dying for exactly a minute so Marco could get away

Could have been better:

  • The pacing. Idk what about it I had a problem with but something about it seemed off to me
  • Underwhelming, especially compared to Cornonation. Would have made a pretty good season finale, but for a series finale, I was hoping for more I guess
  • Star and Marco see each other, see their worlds have merged and they can be together…and just stand there and say hi. It just would have been a more satisfying ending if they had kissed or hugged or something. Like even if you were against Starco or just didn’t care for it, you can’t deny they were at least best friends (not to mention they just canonly started a relationship) so they should have done…something besides staring at each other. I was expecting them to kiss, hoping they would hug, and neither happened. Maybe if there was another season I wouldn’t mind this but because it was the finale I’m disappointed with this specific detail.

Overall:

Content of the episode was good (aside from our main teens standing there not hugging or anything. Delivery was not necessarily bad, but a bit underwhelming

Did I miss a detail?

Milo Murphy’s Law spoilers ahead

So the solution to helping Orgaluth and distributing Orgaluth’s Law was that the aliens would shape shift into her, and when they touched her and did this they took some of her molecular structure and took away a little bit of Orgaluth’s Law.

They also all touched and shape shifted into Milo. So shouldn’t Murphy’s Law be lessened for Milo now? That doesn’t seem to be the case at the end? Was there a reason that didn’t work? I mean yeah I’m pretty sure more of them did that for Orgaluth than Milo, but it was also stated that Milo had less negative probability ions than Orgaluth had.

Did I miss something?
